Service to Football Awards 2025
The Association was delighted to present long service awards to a number of people at its Annual General Meeting on 22nd May. This award is to recognise those people who have given at least 20 years service to local football
.This year, awards were made as follows:

Stuart McKay – Stuart has coached his son’s team at Mytchett Athletic (within NEHYL) from 2003 to 2015. From 2010 until this day he has worked as tournament lead and co-ordinator at Mytchett Athletic FC.
He has also coached for many years at different age groups and led Mini Kickers and Girls Wildcat groups.
Stuart is currently secretary and chairman at Mytchett Athletic.

Ian Warner – Ian has been a youth football coach, child welfare officer head of min-soccer, club secretary, club president at Hook United Youth at various times from 2005 until the present day. He has also worked as NEHYL divisional secretary (2008-15), on the disciplinary panel for Hants FA (2018-21) and has been a referee on local leagues since 2014, becoming a referee mentor in 2023.

Nicky Staszkiewicz – Nicky has been Club Secretary for Badshot Lea Youth & Colts (NEHYL) since 1999. She was also Club Secretary for the Badshot Lea Seniors from 2002-23.
She also represents the club on the Farnham Sports Council and is chairman of the Badshot Lea Recreation & Sports Ground.
Nicky was awarded the National Workforce Volunteer award in 2003, and at some time in her long career was awarded the Services to Farnham Award.

Ian Moorsman became official photographer for Aldershot Town FC in 1992 when it was accepted into the Isthmian League Division 3 after the demise of Aldershot FC. Ian continues in the role 32 years later. He has covered more than 2000 matches during that period rarely missing a match and travelling the length and breadth of the country. He has been a respected stalwart of the club over four decades and fully deserving of the award.

Richard Whittington – commenced his Hampshire stint as follows:-
August 2005 – 2010 Fleet Town Committee Member (Commercial)
2009 – 2015 Club Secretary Fleet Town
2012 – 2019 Vice Chairman at FTFC
2015 – 2019 Match Day Secretary.
2010 – 2021ADFA committee as Senior Clubs Representative
2022 -2025 ADFA Cup Competition Secretary

John Leppard is a lifelong supporter of Aldershot football. Former MD of Charters Peugeot he joined the Board of Directors at Aldershot Town FC in 1997 and is the longest serving Director in the club’s history with 27 years on the Board. In addition to this role John has provided many sponsorships to the club both as Aldershot FC and Aldershot Town FC. He was also Acting Chair during the 2009/10 season after the passing of John McGinty. and was part of the consortium that took the club out of administration in 2013.
Additionally Sue Barnes and Mark Endacott qualified for awards, but were unable to attend. They will be awarded at a suitable club or league event in the near future.

Mark Endacott – Has been with Cove Youth and later Cove FC since 2004
2004 – 2017. Mini strikers and U7 to U18 manager & coach for son’s Cove Youth team.
2004 – present . Joined committee of Cove Youth FC
2006 – present. Treasurer of Cove Youth FC
2008 – present . Chairman of Cove Youth FC
2012 – present. Chaiman & Treasurer of Cove MUGA (4G facility on site).
2015 – present . Joined committee of Cove FC
2017 – present. Football secretary of Cove FC
