20 year service award – Martin Baxter

The Aldershot Divisional Football Association 20 Years’ Service award was presented to Martin Baxter at the recent Hampshire Premier League match between Liss Athletic and Stockbridge.

Martin has represented Liss Athletic in a variety of roles stretching nearly 40 years. A committee member since 1988 he has also served in roles of Secretary, Fixtures Secretary, Assistant 1st Team Manager (2004-08) and Reserve Team Assistant Manager (2018/19). In addition to operating as a Club Linesman for 34 years Martin is still hugely committed to the club to this day. He has been Bar Manager/Designated Premises Supervisor for the past 13 years and  also remains responsible for the grounds and pitch marking. Martin has been a magnificent representative to both Liss Athletic and is fully deserving of this award.
